Víctor Baldoví (Barcelona, 1977) was born with cinema in his blood. As a child, he never missed a premiere, turning movie theaters into a second home while dreaming of becoming a screenwriter or film director.

After graduating in 1995, he spent over 25 years working as a projectionist at Barcelona’s now-closed Cine Comedia. That experience shaped him as a storyteller, caring for every 35mm frame so each film reached the audience exactly as its director intended.

"Cine Comedia was my Cinema Paradiso. When it closed in 2024, I lost everything. But the need to keep telling stories gave me a reason to live again."

As an author, he has published both fiction and non-fiction, including Cuando ya no esté (2020), a drama set during the Spanish flu, and the science fiction saga AEVUM. A World War II historical consultant and contributor to specialized magazines, his blog World War II Freak won the 2GM Award for Best Informative Blog in 2009.

Today, amid the revival of analog cinema, he hopes to return to the projection booth while continuing to pursue his dream of writing for franchises such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and James Bond. Trained in screenwriting at ECIB and ESCAC, his work explores new storytelling formats and the lesser-known stories hidden within History.
